Today is the day!
This year I have a limited supply of 9 different homemade soaps that I'm listing for sale, so get 'em while you can. I have indicated the quantity I have of each and I will try and update the number as they sell so you can see what is still available. I am cutting my bars a bit larger and I'm now selling them for $3 each. I also made some sample packs just for fun. Each pack has 9 sample bars (1/2 size bars) - one of each kind - for $13.50. What a great way to try everything!
For those of you who may be new to the blog and the whole soap thing, here's the low down. I started making soap for our family a little over a year ago, because I couldn't justify buying this quality of soap at the store - so expensive! You might say I enjoy the challenge of figuring out ways to give my family quality items without spending a fortune. Now that I've learned soap, I usually make extra so I have plenty for gifts and some to offer to you, my blog readers. I'm not interested in having a business, I simply enjoy getting great soap into your hands at a reasonable price. So I've been offering it on the blog a few times a year.
My soaps are made from all natural emollients, essential oils, botanicals, and colorants. They contain no harsh detergents, no artificial anything, and are gentle and moisturizing to your skin. I used to think I had dry skin, but come to find out the soap I was using was just making my skin dry. My soap is like moisturizing lotion yet lathers well just like a commercial soap. It doesn't give that "tight" feel that comes from detergents. I make my soap by the cold process method in small batches, I cut it by hand, and I cure it for at least 4 weeks to ensure hardness. You should know that homemade soap is softer than commercial soap, so be sure to let your bar air dry after use (don't let it sit in a sudsy puddle). I have two types of soaps - both are all vegetable oils soaps but one has the addition of moisturizing goat's milk.
All soaps (except kitchen soaps) are perfect all-body soaps, yet I have also indicated which ones are especially good for the complexion. The kitchen soap gently exfoliates and removes food odors, including stubborn garlic and onions, from your hands.
If you don't live local, I am willing to ship. I can send 4 bars anywhere in the U.S. for $5.20 (USPS priority small flat rate box) and beyond that I'd have to calculate the weight and get you a price. I accept PayPal.

I so wanted to try some of these, but december is a tight month! The only reason I didn't shed a tear was because I knew I would be learning with you sometime soon!!!
